Dyson is taking the hair care category very seriously, so much so that in 2022 it announced a commitment to investing £500 million to fuel product innovations. And we are starting to see the fruits of its labour, as it has announced a couple of new hair products such as the recently announced Airstrait straightener. The tech company is clearly not resting on its laurels, as it has also announced a next-gen hairdryer.

Dubbed the Supersonic Nural, Dyson is touting it as its “most intelligent” hair dryer yet. The Supersonic Nural comes equipped with the ability to manage heat with its Scalp Protect Mode, which uses a network of sensors to divert the heat flow. This function is particularly handy, safeguarding your scalp from excessive heat when the dryer ventures too close for comfort.

Dyson has also added features such as Attachment Learning and Pause Detect that can help mitigate heat damage to your hair and scalp and enhance the overall styling experience. The Attachment Learning mode is able to memorise your preferences and recall the last-known settings for a more seamless experience. Pause Detect, on the other hand, will deactivate the heater and decrease the airflow if the appliance is kept aside and idle.

The Dyson Supersonic Nural comes with five attachments and will be available in Ceramic Patina and Vinca Blue colourways. The hair dryer will be available some time in end May, and you can be the first to know when it arrives in Singapore by signing up at https://www.dyson.com.sg/new-launches/hair-care/supersonic-nural-sign-up.
