Besides the Home Security System, Arlo also unveiled a new security camera called the Arlo Pro 5 2K Security Camera.
As its name suggests, the Pro 5 shoots at 2K resolution. It supports HDR and uses a 12-bit image sensor that can capture up to 60 billion colours.
It also has dual-band Wi-Fi support so it can connect over 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi for the strongest network connection.

Battery life has been improved, so the Pro 5 has up to 30% longer battery life than the Pro 4. With an all-new low power mode, the Pro 5 2K can be charged less often.
The Pro 5 also works with the Arlo app that allows users to quickly review videos and set up personalised security settings.
Other notable specs and features include a 160-degree viewing angle, integrated spotlight, a built-in smart siren that can activated remotely or automatically during an event, colour night vision, two-way audio, wire-free, weather resistant, and compatibility with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and IFTTT.
