Ariston launches new electric water heaters with voice controls

Ariston today announced two new ranges of electric water heaters for showering – you have electric storage heaters (that store heated water before use) and instant electric heaters (that offer instant heating upon activation).

Ariston Wi-Fi electric storage water heaters

Among its new electric storage water heaters are Ariston’s SL20/30 Lux-D Wi-Fi, Andris2 15/30 Lux-D Wi-Fi, and Andris Lux 15/30 Wi-Fi. All three models have Wi-Fi connectivity and voice controls via Amazon Alex and Google Assistant, making them unifiable with the rest of your smart home ecosystem.

Users can turn off/on their water heater, adjust the water’s temperature, and get more information about the water via voice commands. 

Of its new voice-command models, the Ariston SL20/30 Lux-D Wi-Fi has a patented full-titanium heating element with a lifetime warranty, energy-saving Eco Evo functionality, and AG+ technology that inhibits bacteria growth. This feature set is similar to an existing Ariston model, the Andris2 Top 30 Wi-Fi (not to be confused with the new Andris2 model above).

The app that houses Ariston water heater controls is Ariston Net (iOS, Android), which offers voice assistant controls on top of energy-saving and energy-consumption features. It notifies users of any technical faults the Ariston heaters might encounter.

This Wi-Fi range starts retail in Singapore from June 2023 onwards, starting from S$399.

Ariston electric instant water heaters

The new Ariston Aures electric instant heaters now come in an upgraded format with sleeker designs, Constant Temperature (CT) technology, and PSB-certified energy savings of up to 25%.

The new range has the Earth-Leakage Circuit Breaker (ELCB) safety mechanism, an additional safety point against dangerous electric leakages. The built-in double-pole ELCB helps to avoid the risk of electric shock by interrupting the electric circuit when triggered.

When connected to power, the Aures heaters automatically scan the heater’s components to ensure proper functionality. If no issues are detected, the heater gives off a solid blue light via its Safety Check lamp. It blinks if the heater decides there’s a problem within.

The flagship Aures Top heaters by Ariston can memorise up to three temperature profiles, customised via the heater’s button interface. So a single press is all that a user needs to shower at their preferred temperature instead of having to fiddle with the heating levels.

Additionally, Aures heaters have temperature lock technology. The heater interrupts heating cycles once a preset temperature is reached. It helps to prevent scalding by reading the residual heat of water, even when you change the heater’s operation mode.

Noise levels are kept to 42.7dB with the built-in silent pump and rainshower attachment. 

The new Ariston Aures range begins sale in Singapore in May 2023, starting from S$139.
