Apple expected to ship 35 million AirTags this year, 2nd-gen model in the works

Apple's shipment of the AirTag has been growing since its launch in 2021 according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

Kuo shared in a tweet that shipment estimates of the Apple AirTag are about 20 million and 35 million units for 2021 and 2022 respectively. If shipments continue to grow, Kuo believes Apple will release a second generation AirTag.

We reviewed the AirTag in April 2021 and found its precision finding to be very accurrate. However, the polished metal cover is prone to scratches.
