Porsche has just announced new infotainment systems that are compatible with its classic cars.
Dubbed PCCM or Porsche Classic Communication Management, these are compatible with most vintage Porsches made between the 60s and 90s.
To that end, Porsche has chosen a special black finish that specifically replicates the look and feel of old Porsche dashboards.
Apart from Apple CarPlay, the new PCCM will also support digital radio stations and media playback via SD card, USB, auxiliary, and also Bluetooth.
Porsche is offering two variants in single and double-DIN form factors and it says it can exactly replace the original built-in units.

The double-DIN unit features a high-resolution 7-inch touchscreen and fits 996-generation 911 and 986-generation Boxsters of the 90s.
The single-DIN unit, on the other hand, was developed for older models, specifically air-cooled Porsches from the 60s all the way up to the 993-generation 911s of the early 90s.
The single-DIN unit features a 3.5-inch touchscreen display and to ensure it doesn't look out of place in a vintage car, it even features rotary knobs and buttons.
The two new systems are available now with prices starting from €1,439.89 (~S$2,207).
