Samsung is making inroads in the automotive display industry.

ETNews reports that Samsung will be supplying OLED panels to BMW for its 2024 "high-end sedan". BMW's new sedans are expected to be mass-produced from 2024 and Samsung will supply four million OLED panels for 6 to 7 years.

Other than BMW, Samsung is said to be in the final stages of securing a deal to supply OLED panels to Audi. The Korean company has supplied OLED panels for Hyundai's Ioniq 5. Samsung hopes to win more orders from European automakers and close the gap with market leader LG Display.
