Porsche usually announces its new cars at one of the traditional big motor shows - think the likes of Geneva, Paris, Detroit, Frankfurt, or Tokyo.
However, they broke tradition just days ago when they showed off their new 911 GT2 RS at E3.
E3 is arguably the biggest gaming expo of the game and it actually makes sense for Porsche to announce its new monster 911 at the event, because the new 911 GT2 RS will be the cover star of the upcoming Forza Motorsport 7 game.

Porsche did not reveal the specifics of the 911 GT2 RS, except that it will have a twin-turbo 3.8-liter flat-six that produces in excess of 650hp and 720nm of torque. It will be the most powerful roadgoing Porsche ever.
Performance is likely to be ballistic. Expect 0-100km/h to happen around 3 seconds, 0-200km/h in under 9 seconds, and a top speed of over 320km/h.
