Announced at IFA 2024, the new XGIMI MoGo 3 Pro builds on technology from the older MoGo 2 Pro in order to offer a compelling portable projector.
The MoGo 3 Pro is a 1080p resolution DLP mobile projector with 450 ISO lumens of brightness. It can project a screen of up to 120 inches. The adjustable stand allows the projector to swivel up to 130 degrees so that content can be watched on walls and ceilings. After having a bit of time with the projector, it did feel more solidly built than the Samsung Freestyle. Notably, the hinge doesn't move as easily.
XGIMI's Intelligent Screen Adaptation version 2.0 (ISA 2.0) is also present here, allowing for the projector to adjust and align the screen as needed with features like auto keystone correction, autofocus, and more without having to interrupt the watching experience by doing it manually.
There are two 5-watt Harman Kardon speakers built-in, with 360-degree Dolby audio supported, and the projector runs on Google TV which means apps like Netflix, YouTube, and more are all present.

There are some cool accessories available for purchase separately as well, such as a PowerBase Stand that doubles as a 10,000mAh battery bank to power the projector as well as a Creative Optical Filter which is a 5x optical zoom lens that magnifies the screen for an ambient experience. We tried it out and realised that it does result in lowered brightness, but it's enough for projecting an ambient screen.
Availability and pricing
On the official XGIMI local store, the MoGo 3 Pro is currently selling at S$899 without the PowerBase Stand, or S$1,049 with the stand.
