Shure SRH1540
Shure has just introduced their brand new SRH1540 closed back premium studio headphones that is targeted at professionals and hobbyist DJs.
These headphones feature 40mm neodymium drivers that Shure claims will deliver "superior acoustic performance for an expansive soundstage with clear, extended highs and warm bass".
The frame is made of lightweight aerospace-grade aluminum and features a carbon fiber cap for better durability. In addition, the ear pads are made from low density foam and covered in alcantara for enhanced comfort. Finally, the SRH1540 features Kelver reinforced oxygen-free copper cables that are detachable and also has gold-plated MMCX connectors.
The SRH1540 will begin retailing just before Christmas in mid-December. Price has yet to be determined.
