Sennheiser CX 890i, MX 985 and CX 985 Audio Products Introduced at IFA 2012
The new ear-canal headset CX 890i features a glass-like finish with metal details to give a minimalistic feel, while the new MX 985 and CX 985 earphones comprise of metal-sculpted components which give them an elegant look.
Sennheiser has announced the new ear-canal headset CX 890i along with the new CX 985 and MX 985 earphones at the IFA 2012.
CX 890i
Enveloped in a minimalistic glass-like finish with metal detailing, the CX 890i premium headset comes in two color variants (black and white) with a matching cable for each color. Combining the signature Sennheiser sound with a frequency response between 17Hz and 23kHz, the CX 890i includes an integrated smart remote control and microphone for iPad/iPhone/iPod users to adjust volume and select tracks, or take phone calls and activate the voice control feature.
CX 985
With the slimmer in-line volume slider integrated more discretely into the cable, the CX 985 and MX 985 comes with an in-flight adapter with rotatable socket and a metal clip each. The premium ear-canal CX 985 earphones feature a frequency range between 16Hz and 24kHz with improved mids, delivering brighter sounds with outstanding vocals. The ear adapters are made of soft silicon and foam, and fit snugly into the ear canal, effectively blocking out external noise. A choice of seven adapters ensures that the earphones will fit perfectly into any ear size and lets users customize the listening experience ac-cording to their sound preferences – either bass-driven or balanced. The MX 985 offers a natural and precise sound reproduction in a frequency range of 16Hz to 23kHz.
