Carl Pei’s (founder of Nothing) Tweet about launching a new product in the U.S. market sent Nothing fans into a tizzy – with even more rumours suggesting it could be a new pair of true wireless earbuds (TWS).

91Mobiles said that a tipster shared about Nothing’s new and upcoming sub-brand, which is either called “Particles by XO” or simply “XO”. The tipster discovered this new sub-brand when pouring over Nothing’s firmware. It’s also supported by a trademark application in the U.S., under the headphone category.

Adding to that information are images of the sub-brand’s first pair of true wireless earbuds. It look vastly different from Nothing’s usual style of black-white-transparent design language, instead adopting an all-white aesthetic with a peanut-shaped bud and a puck-shaped charging case.

Adding to the images is the new buds’ internal codename – B154 – which follows the rumoured Nothing Ear (2)’s B155 working name. It’s also said that these peanut-shaped buds come with high-quality audio codecs like LHDC, and features like ANC (active noise cancellation).
