New Range of Pioneer Blu-Ray Cinema Systems Equipped with Virtual 3D Sound Technology
Developed by Pioneer, the Virtual 3D Sound Technology present in all five models in this new range creates a virtual sound field behind the screen which takes 3D audio to a whole new level.
Pioneer has introduced a range of five new Blu-ray Home Theatre Systems which incorporate the Virtual 3D Sound Technology.
Model HTZ-HW929BD
Developed by Pioneer, this technology creates a virtual sound field behind the screen that takes 3D audio to a whole new level. Based around a main system unit combined with various speaker options, all five models are capable of playing back Blu-ray Discs, DVDs, CDs, and SACDs, and offer compatibility with the most widespread formats, including DivX Plus HD, FLV, MKV, and FLAC files from both disc and USB. Users will also be able to stream YouTube videos and digital photos stored on Picasa directly from their internet-connected Blu-ray system to their HDTV without requiring any additional device.
The main differentiating points between the systems are iPod and iPhone connectivity (using a cradle) and WiFi: both features are found on the “advanced” line, while not on the “regular” models. All offerings feature high power output, up to 1100W in a 5.1 configuration and 550 W in a 2.1 set-up. Each system is Bluetooth ready and supports DLNA connectivity, and house two HDMI inputs, a microphone input, a mini-jack audio connector, and USB connector with CD ripping function.
