Got lucky over Chinese New Year and have some cash to splash?
MrSpeakers has just announced its newest headphones and it is called the AEON.
These are intended to be the brand's entry-level headphones, but it uses technology gleaned from the flagship ETHER Flow headphones.
It is a close-backed headphone and it uses planar magentic drivers with MrSpeakers' Trueflow and V-Planar technologies. The ear cups are finished in genuine carbon fiber and the headband is made using NiTinol, an alloy made of nickel and titanium.
MrSpeakers did not reveal the impedance of these headphones, but they have an efficiency rating of 97dB/mW, which means they should be easily driven as long as you have a decent amplifier.
The MrSpeakers AEON headphones are available for pre-order now and will ship by end of April. It is priced at US$799 (~S$1,128).
