LG has unveiled its CES 2024 soundbar lineup by revealing three new soundbars, the S95TR, SG10TY, and S70TY.
Building on their launch in 2023 soundbar models, all three models come with WOW Orchestra, WOW Interface, and WOWCAST, which make their return in 2024.
To create a surround sound experience, Wow Orchestra allows LG soundbars to share speaker duties intelligently with the speakers in compatible LG TVs. Plus, there’s support for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. All the new LG soundbars include the WOW interface to simplify the setup and even share sound modes with your LG television. With the help of WOWCAST, the S95TR and SG10TY can connect wirelessly to LG TVs.
Another piece of returning technology is LG’s AI Room Calibration Pro. This auto-calibrates your soundbar to optimise its sound for a specific room. This year it’s been improved so that it takes better account the positioning of your rear speakers. This means that the software recognises and compensates for the fact that many households simply aren’t able to put these speakers in anything like the most optimal position.
LG’s new premium model in the soundbar lineup is the S95TR. It features 810W output and surround sound through its 15 channels of which five channels are up-firing. It also has, what LG calls an “industry first”, centre up-firing speaker. This helps to create a three-dimensional audio experience with enhanced clarity and an expanded soundstage. Its tweeters have also been improved to deliver clear and precise audio, while also incorporating a passive radiator to enrich bass sounds and optimise the overall balance between the soundbar and the subwoofer.
Meant to pair with LG’s QLED, the SG10TY is the first to be Wi-Fi enabled as well. Coming with the previously mentioned WOW Orchestra, WOW interface, and WOWCAST, you can connect to an LG QLED TV using WOWCAST and have no visible cables between the screen and the soundbar.

The final new edition to the LG soundbar lineup is the S70TY. LG says that this model is meant to partner with its QNED display thanks to its up-firing speaker and a dedicated bracket (sold separately) that allows you to wall-mount the S70TY soundbar at various heights or locations without needing to drill holes in the wall during installation.
