Klipsch has taken their popular Reference On-Ear headphones and updated the design to offer better comfort while retaining the same classic sound derived from their Reference Home Theatre line.
The new design is minimal and clean, with all the hinges and sliding mechanisms strengthened and hidden for greater protection from wear and tear. Soft and deep ear cushions contour themselves to the shape of your ear, offering comfort and noise isolation that only improves with time.
The headphones fold away for easy storage.
The ear cups provide articulation in all directions, spreading the pressure evenly across your ear. Light and sturdy, the headphones also fold away neatly to fit in the included hard case, making them excellent travel companions. The pillow pads have also now been made user removable, so you can prolong the lifespan of the headphones by switching out the ear pads once they are worn out.
There’s also a new wireless version of the headphones which uses aptX and AAC technologies for the optimal sound quality over Bluetooth. It offers 20 hours of wireless playback time, and comes with a standard 3.5mm audio cable for times when wireless is not an option (like on the plane).
Thewired version of the Reference On-Ear (II) is available for S$329 now, while the Bluetooth version is available for S$399.
