Over the years, Creative's Pebble speakers have been some of the best compact desktop speakers at under S$100, with the likes of the Pebble V3, Pebble Pro and even an artsy Creative Artisan Edition lineup. Now, Creative is looking to take it up a notch with the new Pebble X and Pebble X Plus speakers.
This is the first time Creative will have Pebble speakers priced over S$100. The 2.0 channel Pebble X is S$129 while the 2.1 channel Pebble X Plus with a subwoofer will go for S$189. Both speakers come with new customisable RGB lighting in a pattern around the sides of the speaker, as opposed to the older Pebble Pro's ring lighting around the base.

The Pebble X series speakers come with new and larger 2.75-inch full-range drivers, compared to the Pebble V3 and Pebble Pro's 2.25-inch drivers. Just like every other Pebble speaker, the drivers on both the Pebble X and Pebble X Plus are tilted at a 45-degree angle to ensure that the sound is projected towards the listener's ears for a targeted soundstage.

If you like more bass, the Pebble X Plus comes with a compact subwoofer that has dual passive radiators.
Both speakers come with a plethora of connectivity options, including Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C, and a 3.5mm AUX input port. There are also ports for connecting headphones for private listening and microphones for communication.
Plugged into a PC's USB-C port, the speakers have up to 15W of RMS power with peak power of 30W. However, you can further boost its power by plugging it into a 30W or higher USB-PD Type-C power adapter. When you do so, both speakers can get up to 30W of RMS power and peak power of 60W, which should definitely boost not only the volume but also the audio punch of the Pebble X and Pebble X Plus.
The RGB lighting can be moderately customised with six presets via the control knob on the speakers, but there's also the Creative app on PC and mobile for in-depth customisation as well as access to Creative's proprietary technologies like Crystal Voice, Dialog+ and more.

The Creative Pebble X retails for S$129 and is available on Creative's online store here, while the Creative Pebble X Plus is priced at S$189 and is also available at Creative's online store here.
They will also be available at the Creative Flagship Store on Lazada and the Creative Official Store on Shopee.
