Fans of Bowers & Wilkins’ audio products will be happy to know the iconic Zeppelin wireless speakers have received some upgrades, and more so that the upgrades are more than just skin-deep.

While the new Zeppelin Pro Edition doesn't stray very far away from the design language of the original Zeppelin, Bowers & Wilkins now makes it available in two new finishes - Solar Gold and Space Grey. In addition, it also now comes with a downlight that users can adjust to show over 15 different colours via the company’s smartphone companion app, and with brightness adjustments, too.

The upgrades aren’t just on its looks; new to the Zeppelin Pro Edition are the use of Titanium Dome tweeters – apparently the same as found in the B&W 600 Series speakers, and paired with 90mm midrange drivers using B&W’s proprietary Fixed Suspension Transducer FST technology that is used in the company’s premium floor-standing speakers. Bass is provided by a 150mm subwoofer that's embedded right in the center of the speaker structure to minimize unwanted movement and rocking of the speaker cabinet as it operates .

With the Zeppelin Pro Edition, you can stream audio directly via AirPlay 2, aptX Adaptive Bluetooth, or Spotify Connect. With the B&W Music app, users can access their streaming service of choice, including Tidal. If multi-room audio is your thing, you can use the Zeppelin Pro Edition with other Zeppelins for multi-room playback, or with other wireless speakers from B&W’s wireless Formation speaker range.

The B&W Zeppelin is available now at a suggested retail price of S$1,299, coming in either Space Grey or Solar Gold. Get yours at the TC web-store (https://sg.tcacoustic.asia/), Sonos Flagship Store @ Orchard Road, TC Acoustic Store @ The Adelphi and TC Acoustic Experience Centre @ Paya Lebar.
