Bowers & Wilkins (B&W) has gone ahead to bring a few important updates to its audio lineup with the next generation of Px7 wireless headphones and a new edition of its Pi8 true wireless earbuds.
Here’s what they both offer, and where to find them in Singapore.
Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S3 wireless headphones
Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S3.
Building upon its Px7 series is the new third-generation Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S3. It features a re-engineered design prioritising the headphone’s audio competency, comfort, and style.
Now, it’s slimmer than previous models, with its carrying case also getting a size reduction. It also received a new headband and arm mechanism to improve its over-head fit, and improved the quality of memory foam for its earpads to make longer listening sessions possible.
The 40mm bio-cellulose drivers feature redesigned chassis, voice coil, suspension, and magnets. Only the cone material was carried over from its predecessor.
The real change, however, is that B&W said these headphones have a dedicated, discrete headphone amplifier built in.
Since it’s a wireless pair of headphones, B&W Px7 S3 supports Qualcomm AptX Adaptive 24-bit/96kHz and AptX Lossless. It also has 3.5mm and USB-C ports to round off its connectivity. Both cable types are included in their carrying case. New to the device is Bluetooth LE Audio, Auracast, and support for LC3 codec.
While it still has active noise cancelling, B&W wasn’t very clear about what’s been upgraded, except to say it’s been balanced to avoid distorting music.
Other features include eight microphones around each earcup (two for measuring the drive unit, four for ambient noise coverage, and two for voice). Its voice processing tech is ADI Pure Voice.
The headphones have 30 hours of battery life on a single charge, and its fast-charging tech allows it to grant up to seven hours with a 15-minute top-up.
Last but not least, it’s also compatible with the Music app by B&W, with programmable physical Quick Action on the device and in-app five-band EQ adjustments. If fiddling with EQ isn’t your thing, you can also use True Sound mode that adjusts the Px7 S3 to its preferred audio signature designed by Southwater Research Establishment (SRE).
Physical buttons also see a revised layout, but the essentials stay intact, with volume controls, play/pause, and a relocated power button making it all extra intuitive. Quick Action, if not configured, can cycle the phone's three ANC modes (Off, Pass-Through, On) and launch the phone’s voice assistant.
A major change is the introduction of inherent spatial audio with the headphones alone, again engineered by SRE. However, this won’t be out at launch: B&W said the feature is an add-on available via OTA firmware updates for the gadget, just like Bluetooth LE Audio.
Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S3 (S$699) is available from 14 May 2025 onwards in Anthracite Black, Indigo Blue, and Canvas White, over at TC Acoustic’s website, the physical Sonos Flagship Store and TC Acoustic Store, and the distributor’s official Lazada and Shopee storefronts.

McLaren Automotive has partnered with B&W to make the latter an Official Audio Partner of the McLaren Formula 1 Team. Celebrating that is the McLaren Edition of an existing TWS, the Bowers & Wilkins Pi8.
Read the earbuds’ heads-on article here for our thoughts about it. In short, it has a neutral, natural sound signature, with solid bass and bright trebles accompanied by decent ANC.
The McLaren Edition differs with its design, encapsulating the livery and colours found in McLaren’s brand. You have McLaren Papaya Orange (yes, that’s the real name) and Galvanic Grey accents.
Bowers & Wilkins Pi8 McLaren Edition is also priced a bit higher than the regular ones given its special collectors status, at S$849. Find it at at TC Acoustic’s website, the physical Sonos Flagship Store and TC Acoustic Store, and the distributor’s official Lazada and Shopee storefronts.
