Adidas RPT-01 sport headphones video review: Catering to the athleisure crowd
The Adidas RPT-01 is the basketball shoe for your head. Whether you actually play basketball (or workout at all), its knitted design will definitely stand out. And if that's your goal, they will definitely do the job.
Adidas goes after athleisure tech with the RPT-01
Back in June 2020, Adidas unveiled their own branded Bluetooth sport headphones in both in-ear and over-ear configurations. Made by Zound Industries - the people behind Marshall and Urbanears - the Adidas RPT-01 reviewed here is the over-ear model and its claim to fame is its knitted fabric finish, and removable, washable ear cups. It also has a wireframe design that confers both durability and flexibility while being lightweight in nature.
The RPT-01 has Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connectivity, IPX4 sweat resistance and a massive 40-hour battery life. It certainly looks the part of a serious sports headphones, but for S$299, does it perform? To answer that question, here's my full video review:-
