JBL’s latest Dolby Atmos soundbars arrive in Singapore, starting from S$999

JBL announced the availability and pricing of its latest range of Dolby Atmos soundbars. The new Bar Gen 4 series comprise five models: the 1300MK2, the 1000MK2, the 800MK2, the 500MK2, and the 300MK2.

JBL Bar 1300MK2

The flagship soundbar of the range is the 1300MK2, which features a dual 8-inch driver subwoofer and two detachable wireless speakers, providing a combined maximum power output of 2,470W.

Six up-firing drivers and AI Sound Boost in the subwoofer deliver true Dolby Atmos and DTS:X 3D surround sound with less distortion. The two detachable wireless speakers can be placed anywhere around the home and connected with Bluetooth to offer an immersive experience.

To connect the 1300MK2 wirelessly with most TVs and projectors, JBL is also offering the One Commander, which delivers a less cluttered living space.

JBL Bar 1000MK2

The second model of the range has two up-firing drivers, a 10-inch subwoofer, and detachable rear speakers. The JBL Bar 1000MK2 delivers a maximum power output of 960W. It also supports True Dolby Atmos sound.

JBL Bar 800MK2

Designed for smaller spaces, the JBL Bar 800MK2 has a 10-inch subwoofer and two detachable wireless speakers for a combined maximum output of 780W. Here, because it doesn’t have up-firing speakers, it only supports virtual Dolby Atmos sound.

JBL Bar 500MK2 and 300MK2

For first-time homeowners, JBL offers entry-level soundbar models: the 500MK2 and 300MK2. The former delivers a power output of 750W with a 10-inch subwoofer, while the latter loses the subwoofer and provides a maximum power output of 450W. Both support virtual Dolby Atmos sound.
