Free Zoom users may start to see ads appearing in the meetings.

In a blog post, Zoom announced that it is rolling out a pilot advertising program to support its investment and continue providing free Basic users with access to its platform. Zoom says the ads will only be seen on the browser page once the meeting ends. In addition, only free Basic users in certain countries will see the ads when they join meetings that are hosted by other free Basic users.

Zoom wants to assure users that it will not use meeting, webinar or messaging content for any marketing, promotions, or third-party advertising purposes.
