Ever wondered what you spend the most on? Is it enjoying fancy hotel stays overseas, indulging in good food, or checking out tourist attractions? Well, you'll be able to find out if you used YouTrip to pay for it.
With the new YouTrip Replay feature, users will be able to check out their 2024 spending habits with one out of 11 personas being assigned. These personas range from ones like "hotel motel enthusiast", which, as the name suggests, means the person spent the most on hotel stays, to "the 360 globetrotter" if your spending on touristy things was the highest.

The personal snapshots are generated through the company's analysis of the individual's spending behaviours, with data points such as most-used currencies and how they rank compared to other users. While this data helps users make informed decisions about their spending, it also gives YouTrip a better understanding of users' spending habits for future use with targeted campaigns and such.
To check out your persona and data, simply open the YouTrip app and tap on the YouTrip Replay banner to access the feature.
3D2N hotel stay giveaway
If that doesn't quite perk your interest, perhaps a free hotel stay will? YouTrip is giving away a 3D2N hotel stay to anywhere the winners desire to three lucky folks. The giveaway will run from 21 January to 12PM SGT on 26 January 2025.

Participating is simple, all one has to do is view their 2024 YouTrip Replay data, share it on their Instagram story and use the hashtag #YTreplay in the story. Of course, you'll have to follow and tag the company at @YouTripSG as well, and your Instagram profile has to be set to public for the duration of the giveaway.
A bonus chance will be given to participants who comment on YouTrip's Instagram giveaway post (link here) with their 2025 travel plans as well, so if you're interested in that, make sure to head on over.
Checking out the T&C of the giveaway, it's made a little clearer that the 3D2N hotel stay prize is actually S$1,000 in YouTrip credits, which makes more sense than thinking YouTrip will individually book the desired hotels for the winners. That being said, if you're looking to spend some time in a fancy ryokan in Japan, that amount might not be enough for a 3D2N stay.
Regardless, who's going to say no to some free money? I know I wouldn't.
