WeChat has announced two new updates to its mobile instant messaging app.

Firstly, the company has released "WeChat for Mac" that's available in both English and Chinese for Mac OS X 10.7(Lion) and above. This new offering can be easily accessed via a QR code scan, taking users directly to a clean interface, synced with the user’s mobile phone. The additional option of accessing WeChat via Mac creates a convenient social experience for WeChat users. With this update, WeChat is now available on seven OS platforms (among Android, iOS, and Windows).
Secondly, the latest cartoon superhero has arrived on the WeChat Sticker Shop. Watch Mon-mon literally move and transform the city into her playground and get dizzy in her attempt to scale skyscrapers.
