Toyota has launched a new sports iPhone and Android app for Prius PHV - "PLUG-IN Championship".

Like its name implies, the app uses the "plug-in" action as the main game controller. The app takes the plug-in action where smartphone users connect their mobile device to the recharger, turning it into an Olympics-like sporting event. There, "players" compete with each other by accuracy of the timing of the "plug-in" action and win scores for each play. Once a smartphone is "plugged in", a variety of movies will be played to add further dimension to the games.
The "PLUG-IN Championship" app is available at the iTunes App Store, and Google Play.
