TomTom has previewed the latest TomTom app for the iPhone and iPad.

The first to use social networks as a source for turn-by-turn navigation, this new version (v1.10) of the TomTom app allows users to plan their routes based on information from their Facebook friends, events and places. They can also share their destination and arrival time on social networks such as Facebook and Twitter, as well as by email and SMS.
The new TomTom App will be available within Q1 2012. If you already have the App, you can download the new features for free.
