More than one million apps across iOS and iPadOS are available on Apple Vision Pro.
Aside from announcing the pre-order and launch details of the Vision Pro, Apple also shared some information on the ecosystem for the spatial computing device.
Apple states that more than one million apps across iOS and iPadOS are available on the Vision Pro and will automatically work with its new input system, thanks to the visionOS leveraging the existing developer frameworks.
Some of the key productivity and collaboration apps include Fantastical, Freeform, JigSpace, Microsoft 365 apps and Slack. The Apple Vision Pro also supports the Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad.
On the entertainment section, Apple says Vision Pro users can access more than 150 3D titles with the Apple TV app. For gamers, the Vision Pro can access games on the App Store which includes over 250 Apple Arcade titles. There are new spatial games such as Game room, What the Golf? and Super Fruit Ninja.
From the looks of it, the Apple Vision Pro is off to a good start with a robust ecosystem of apps and content. With Apple having complete control over the software and hardware ecosystem, it won't be long before the Vision Pro dominates the space and outgrows its rivals.
