While Zoom struggles to address its growing list of security and privacy issues, Skype is taking the opportunity to remind everyone that its platform is free for everyone to use even if they don't have an account.

Skype shared in a tweet that its Meet Now feature is a simple, hassle-free way to connect with others with no sign-ups or downloads required. You can generate a free unique link with one click, share it with participants and enjoy unlimited meetings on Skype.

Skype's Meet Now feature is slightly better than Zoom as the latter requires a meeting host to have an account and the app to start the call although participants don't need either.
