Earlier today, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong delivered his Budget speech and announced “a basket of SG60 goodies” that most Singaporeans can look forward to receiving later this year.

The highlight is arguably a one-time handout of up to S$800 in SG60 vouchers. These vouchers will be given out starting in July and can be used at all businesses that accept CDC vouchers.

PM Wong also announced S$800 in CDC vouchers which will be given out in two tranches: S$500 in May, and the remaining S$300 in January next year.

These benefits are on top of the Assurance Package, which was first announced in the 2022 Budget.

Understandably, it can be tricky to keep track of what’s what and what exactly one qualifies for. Happily, there are websites and an app to help you do just that.

A website that tells you what you qualify for is govbenefits.gov.sg. Head over to the site log in with your Singpass, and you will be greeted with a menu that lets you check your eligibility for the various government packages.

Alternatively, you can also log in to the LifeSG app. Not only does the app tell you what benefits you’ve qualified for, but it also links you to the Support For You Calculator which can help you estimate what you’ll be getting from future packages.

The LifeSG app is free to download from Google Play for Android devices and the App Store for iPhones.

You can also head directly to the Support For You Calculator here.
