Simplify everyday tasks with Parallels Toolbox, now available for Windows

Parallel's nifty Toolbox app is now available for Windows.

Parallels has just announced that its nifty Toolbox app is now available for Windows.

The Parallels Toolbox was first introduced alongside Parallels Desktop 12 for Mac.  It is available as a standalone app, but it comes free with Parallels Desktop 12.

Like the Mac version, the Windows version of Parallels Toolbox will let users quickly do things like record their screens, take specialized screenshots, download videos from video-sharing sites, transcode videos, and more.

Parallels is offering free trials of Parallels Toolbox for Windows and users who find it useful can then purchase a license to use it for US$9.99 per year.

It's a pretty helpful app, especially if you give presentations regularly as there is a hide desktop function that quickly hides all icons on your desktop.

For YouTube junkies, the download video function is most handy.
