Apple acquired Shazam way back in 2018 and has integrated the app in various ways. One thing I love about it is how you can set up a playlist of songs that updates itself automatically whenever you identify a new song on Shazam.
The latest version of Shazam (version 15.38) comes with two new widgets you can add to your Lock Screen.
The smaller single "block" widget lets you quick open Shazam to start identifying a song while the larger widget that takes up two "blocks" also lets you quickly launch Shazam but also shows you the last song you've identified.
Previously, the quickest way to launch Shazam and identify a song was to add it to your Control Centre. The new Lock Screen widget saves you from doing a downward swipe and is easier to activate if you using your phone with only one hand.
