Pebble will roll out its appstore in early next year, offering users of the smartwatch a first-of-its-kind wearable tech application directory, providing them a one-stop-shop for searching, browsing, and installing Pebble watchfaces and apps directly from the iOS or Android Pebble smartphone app. This will go live with the Pebble SDK 2.0.
The Pebble appstore will include watchfaces and six app categories for Daily, Remotes, Sports & Fitness, Notifications, Tools & Utilities, and Games. A selection of the best, as well as new apps, will be featured in each category.
