Oceanic+, a third-party deep diving app, is now available for the Apple Watch Ultra.

Developed in collaboration with Huish Outdoors, Oceanic+ app features a revolutionary user interface that relays information in the easiest way. For example, the main screen indicates the diver's current depth, no-decompression time, water temperature and more. Users can scroll to see more information such as maximum depth, ascent speed and battery level.

The Oceanic+ app also offers safety warnings such as no-decompression limit, excessive ascent rates, and safety stop guidance in different colour codes to make it easier to understand these statistics.

The companion app on the iPhone shows more information, which includes a map of entry and exit locations, graphs of depth, and temperature ascent rate. Another key feature of the app is haptic feedback, which allows the diver to feel notifications underwater, even through a 7mm thick wetsuit.

Apple Watch Ultra users can choose from a variety of complications such as no-fly time, surface time, quick access to dive planner, current elevation, and maximum elevation allowed.

The Oceanic+ app is now available for download today on the App Store. It requires the Apple Watch Ultra to run watchOS 9.1 and paired with iPhone 8 or later, iPhone SE (2nd-gen) or later running iOS 16.1.

The free, basic plan comes with many common dive functions such as depth, time and most recent dive logs. If you want more advanced tracking features such as tissue loading, Oceanic+ is priced at S$14.98/mth or S$119.98/year. Family Sharing is also available for S$188.98/year and allows access for up to five users.
