Microsoft is making a clear attempt to lure Dropbox users over to its cloud storage service with its latest promotion where they can get 100GB free OneDrive storage for one year.
All you need to do is to visit the promotional page, sign in and verify that you have a Dropbox account. In addition, you have to save a PDF file - "Getting Started with OneDrive" to a folder in your Dropbox.
Microsoft has made several enhancements to its OneDrive storage in the past year. In June 2014, the company increased its free cloud storage space from 7GB to 15GB. Four months later, non-business users were allowed to upload files up to 10GB (it was 2GB previously) via the desktop apps for Windows and Mac, all of the mobile apps, and the OneDrive website.
