Following a limited rollout of its ride-hailing services, GOJEK has announced that it will now extend its services to the whole of Singapore beginning today (2 January).
Despite the islandwide rollout, GOJEK will still be in beta. During this beta phase, new users will have to join a waiting list to sign up. However, DBS and POSB bank customers will enjoy priority on this waiting list.
On Sunday, GOJEK also introduced dynamic pricing for its servicing, which would see prices increase during times of high demand.
The company explained in an email to users that this would help cut down waiting times for commuters and drivers.
Finally, GOJEK's head of operations reportedly said that the firm would be ramping up activities to woo customers to its platforms and that this could be done through promotion codes and vouchers.
