Huawei's achievements in the mobile industry this year have apparently attracted one former Apple director to join the company.

Former Apple creative director Abigail Brody recently joined Huawei as its Chief UX designer and Vice President of Huawei Device & Consumer. Huawei is also reportedly building a U.S design studio to track and lead pioneering design concepts.

Brody was one of the chief designers behind the first iPhone and assisted in defining both OS X and Apple pro apps for about ten years. She left Apple in 2011 to join eBay and PayPal as the vice president of global design.

With the hire of Brody, it is likely that we will be seeing a major revamp of Huawei's EMUI interface on its mobile devices and help Huawei stand out from the sea of Android vendors.
