Facebook just announced it is expanding support for hardware security keys to mobile devices.

Hardware security key support, which has been available for Facebook users on desktop since 2017, is now available on iOS and Android mobile devices. The hardware security key adds another layer of security by informing users every time someone attempts to access their Facebook account. Facebook will require users to confirm their identity with the registered hardware security key, which hackers will not have access to.

If you have a hardware security key, you can enroll it in two-factor authentication within the Security and Login section of Settings.
