Instagram's answer to Twitter is now available to download, but you might want to reconsider after reading this.
In the first paragraph of the Threads Supplemental Privacy Policy, Meta states that "your Threads profile can only be deleted by deleting your Instagram account". This is a sly yet effective growth hack for Threads as it is unlikely anyone will give up his/her Instagram account just to deactivate the Threads profile.
Alternatively, you can choose to deactivate your Threads profile at any time. Meta states that your posts and interactions with others' posts will not visible on Threads until you reactivate it.
