The upcoming visionOS 2.4 is one of the most significant updates for the Apple Vision Pro. It introduces Apple Intelligence support, a new Spatial Gallery app, a companion iPhone app, and an improved Guest mode.

Apple Intelligence for the Vision Pro

Vision Pro users can look forward to several Apple Intelligence features such as Writing Tools to improve their writing, Image Playground to create fun and unique images and Genmoji to create unique emojis. These three features arrived on the iPhone in December 2024 with the iOS 18.2 update.

The visionOS 2.4 update will make it easier for Vision Pro owners to share the experience of using their head sets with family and friends. Owners will be able to start Guest User mode directly from their iPhone or iPad, and select which apps guest users can access. Furthermore, View Mirroring with AirPlay makes it easy for owners to guide their family and friends through the Vision Pro experience.

Availability of visionOS 2.4

Apple states that visionOS 2.4 will be available for the Vision Pro sometime in April. The first developer beta is available for download.
