Android L Keyboard Available for Download on Google Play Store

You can now try Google's new keyboard from the Android L Developer Preview by downloading it from the Play Store. It is free and should work on devices running Android 4.0 and above.

Jealous of your friends from the developer community who have access to Google's developer preview build of Android L? Don't be as you can now experience the New Material Design to some extent by downloading the Android L Keyboard from the Google Play Store.

Thanks to XDA TV producer Shen Ye, the Android L Keyboard app is now available for non-rooted devices running Android 4.0 and above. As it is a direct port from the developer build, you get the same layout and typing experience.

We've downloaded and used the Android L Keyboard app on the Xiaomi Redmi Note (running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with MIUI V5 OS). At press time, we have not encountered any issues with the keyboard. You can download the app at the source link below.
