According to the company, Fire Strike Ultra renders the test content at a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels (4K Ultra HD). In the event if you don’t have a 4K monitor, the rendered content will be scaled down according to the resolution of the display device. We wonder if there are any commonalities with NVIDIA’s Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR) technology.

However, as this is a graphically-taxing test, the system’s graphics card need to have at least 3GB of video memory, or more. Only the latest editions of 3DMark Advanced and Professional will offer the Fire Strike Ultra. Current owners are able to enjoy this new test by applying a software update.
