Five years after its debut, Apple Fitness+ is finally coming to Singapore!
As part of its largest expansion yet, the fitness and wellness app will launch in Singapore and 27 other new markets - including Chile, India, the Netherlands, Norway, the Philippines, Poland, Sweden, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Vietnam - starting 15 December.
Apple Fitness+ offers 12 workout types, such as Strength, Yoga, HIIT, Pilates, Dance, Cycling, Kickboxing, and Meditation, with sessions ranging from 5 to 45 minutes across the iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV.
Apple is also introducing a new K-pop music genre, available across all workout categories and featuring global hits from leading artists. This adds to existing music genres like Upbeat Anthems, Latest Hits, Hip-Hop/R&B, and Latin Grooves.
In Singapore, Apple Fitness+ is priced at S$9.98 per month or S$79 per year, and can be shared with up to five other family members. It requires an iPhone 8 or later with iOS 16.1 or later; or Apple Watch Series 3 or later with watchOS 7.2 or later, paired with iPhone 6s or later with iOS 14.3 or later.
Customers who purchase a new Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV capable of running the latest OS, AirPods Pro 3, or Powerbeats Pro 2 from Apple or an authorised reseller, will receive three free months of Apple Fitness+.
No expanded Apple One subscription tiers
If you recall, the Apple One subscription bundle is a convenient way to subscribe to multiple Apple services. In some countries, the Apple One subscription comes in a third variant, Premier, that includes Apple News+ and Apple Fitness+. At the time of publishing, Apple hasn’t updated the Apple One subscriptions offered in Singapore, and it only offers Individual and Family plans.
