As enterprises come to grips with hybrid cloud environments, edge computing, and AI, the newly launched NVIDIA AI LaunchPad gives enterprises immediate access to NVIDIA-powered infrastructure and software platform to streamline the AI lifecycle, delivered through tech partners and Equinix.
By leveraging Platform Equinix, enterprises can soon get access NVIDIA resources that support virtually every aspect of AI, from data centre resources, infrastructure, to full-scale deployments at the edge.
These include NVIDIA DGX SuperPODs managed by NVIDIA Base Command Platform, or servers built on the NVIDIA EGX platform that can come from technology partners like Dell and Lenovo.
Justin Boitano, VP/GM Enterprise and Edge Computing at NVIDIA said that rather than buying the infrastructure needed and waiting months for deployment, with Platform Equinix, enterprises can set up the infrastructure in minutes and get those projects going rather than trying to build that infrastructure themselves.
That is going to help customers get started on this journey faster and show value to internal stakeholders before making bigger CAPEX investments – and help accelerate the entire cycle for us.
The AI Launchpad service will be available as an on-demand service this summer with hourly billing, and the option to reserve servers for longer-term usage. This makes good business sense given the data set requirements and hardware needed for AI development.
