The government recently disbursed S$500 in Child LifeSG Credits to all Singaporean Citizen children aged between 0 and 12. This was announced as part of the bumper SG60 Budget that was announced earlier this year.
Where can I find my credits?
The credits should have been disbursed last week to the eligible child’s Child Development Account (CDA) trustee via the LifeSG mobile app. Eligible children are those born between 2013 and 2024. Children born this year will receive the credits in April 2026.
To see if you have received your credits, open the LifeSG app on your device and scroll down to the “Child LifeSG Credits” tab.
How do I cash it out?
One good thing about the Child LifeSG Credits is that they can be used at any place that accepts payments using PayNOW UEN QR or NETS QR. This makes them almost as good as cold, hard cash.
