Razer to Host US$15,000 DotA 2 Tournament

Razer will be hosting the Razer DotA 2 tournament at the IT Show from 8-11 Mar 2012.

Some of the region's best DotA players, including Orange e-Sports and Mineski (the top DotA teams in Malaysia and the Philippines), will be featured in the first ever live tournament hosted by Razer at the IT Show.

Teams from the public are also encouraged to sign up and test their skills in a live competitive environment with top tier teams from the region. Teams can sign up for the tournament at http://esa.org.sg/razer/. A registration fee of S$10 per team applies.

Additionally, interested teams can email contact@raptureasia.com to register for the Public Challenge against Mineski on the 8th and 9th March and stand a chance to win prizes worth up to US$1,000.

The total prize pool of the tournament is worth more than US$15,000. The event will be streamed live at http://www.twitch.tv/rapturegaming to encourage fans across the region to support their favorite teams.

The tournament will be conducted in a 5v5 single elimination format, and will take place IT Show at Suntec Convention Hall 602 from 8-11 March 2012.
