Watch How the Samsung Galaxy Gear Can Help You Snag a Date
Samsung just released a commercial for the Galaxy Gear which shows how one male snowboarder is able to get his love interest with the features of the smart watch.

We've seen a video on the Samsung Galaxy Gear being dropped, dunked and shot at. Now, Samsung has released a commercial touting the features of the smart watch which helped a male snowboarder snag a date with a lady.
In the two-and-a-half minute commercial, two male snowboarders are vying for the attention of a female snowboarder on a ski lift. Jack, the male snowboarder with the Galaxy Gear, uses the features of the smart watch to impress the female snowboarder, Amy in different scenarios while his counterpart fumbles through.
For example, Jack is able to record the contact number of Amy using the Galaxy Gear while the other male snowboarder struggles to remove his gloves and key in the numbers on his mobile phone. Jack is also able to snap pictures and a video of Amy skiing, and showing them to her later.
It is obvious who gets the lady in the end, but we wonder if this geeky method is really effective in reality. Nonetheless, with a promotional budget that is bigger than a country's GDP, Samsung has every right to dictate the rules of the game.
