Wahoo Fitness Tickr Heart Rate Strap Released
The new heart rate strap comes with Wahoo's Burn & Burst Heart Rate Training Program to maximize your workout and dual band technology (ANT+ and Bluetooth 4.0 enabled) to connect the Tickr to both smartphones and GPS watches/bike computers.
Axtro Sports is retailing the Wahoo Fitness Tickr in Singapore, exclusively.
The new heart rate strap comes with Wahoo's Burn & Burst Heart Rate Training Program to maximize your workout and dual band technology (ANT+ and Bluetooth 4.0 enabled) to connect the Tickr to both smartphones and GPS watches/bike computers.
The Burn is the heart rate at which your body utilizes fat as the primary fuel source, and the Burst is the recommended heart rate that should be maintained for short durations to improve speed and performance. Wahoo has created Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Burn and Burst training plans customized to your individual skill level and fitness goals.
Connecting wirelessly to your smartphone, the Tickr delivers accurate real-time heart rate data, via the free Wahoo Fitness App. The app allows you to share and upload your workout data to popular training websites such as TrainingPeaks, MapMyRUN, Nike+, Garmin Connect, or Strava, letting you track your fitness over time, or to share with friends.
On top of the proprietary app, Tickr also connects directly to any of 50 other popular fitness apps, including (but not limited to) Endomondo, Strava, RunKeeper, MapMyRun, and Cyclemeter. The Tickr sends and receives signals up to 10 feet, and records data even when the Bluetooth receiver communication is interrupted.
