Valve is looking to bring Steam gaming into the living room with its Steam Machine. But no matter what the hardware configuration, every Steam Machine is essentially a small-form-factor PC. What happens when you want to game on-the-go? That's what the SteamBoy Machine team is looking to achieve with the SteamBoy.

A portable Steam Machine, the SteamBoy looks similar to a PlayStation Vita, and the SteamBoy Machine team has revealed that the machine will come with a quad-core CPU, 4GB RAM, 32GB built-in memory card and a 5-inch 16:9 touchscreen. The SteamBoy is expected to be available in 2015, so let's hope this doesn't turn out to be vaporware.
