Samsung Powerbot Star Wars Special Edition VR7000 robot vacuum cleaner now here

Star Wars fans, prepare to leap into hyper-clean space. The Samsung Powerbot Star Wars Special Edition VR7000 robot vacuum cleaner is available now for online pre-order until the 14 of November 2017.

The special edition of the robot vacuum cleaner features either the mug of Darth Vader or a Stormtrooper, with accompanying sound effects. I saw an early version of the Darth Vader VR7000 when visiting Samsung HQ, which powered up with sounds of the deep, husky breaths that Anakin Skywalker was infamous for.

When I asked why there wasn’t a Millennium Falcon edition, a Samsung employee sheepishly looked at me and said she’d try harder next time. She was probably rooting for the First Order.

If these are the droids you’re looking for, be prepared to pay for them, as the Darth Vader model will set you back S$1,049 credits, and the Stormtrooper model will cost S$949 credits. All successful pre-order customers will receive a complimentary pair of Golden Village movie tickets for every purchase, upon delivery on 16 November 2017.
