OtterBox iPhone 5 Casings Now Available for Pre-Order

OtterBox.com will now take in pre-orders for its Defender and Commuter Series of iPhone casings, with shipping expected to begin on 21 September 2012.

With a rubber outer layer strong enough to endure frequent use, its built-in protective membrane prevents scratches your touchscreen, while its doors and tabs block dust, lint, and dirt from accumulating and damaging ports and jacks. Wrapping your iPhone with a solid interior plastic structure, it comes with a new secure belt clip which features a smooth ratcheting motion, and a custom opening that isolates camera and flash to preserve picture quality.

This casing provides a solid impact deflecting structure and slick surface so you can easily slide your smartphone into your pocket, and has a rubber inner layer built to withstand frequent use. Its self-adhering film attaches to the touchscreen so scratches and scrapes can be prevented. Like the Defender series, it includes doors and tabs, and a custom opening for camera access.
