Listen to Steve Jobs narrate your aerial tour of the new Apple Campus

The futuristic Apple Campus 2 is expected to be completed sometime in 2016. YouTuber Duncan Sinfield managed to compile aerial footage of the progress so far from his DJI Phantom 1 drone, complete with a voice-over from the late Steve Jobs.

The spaceship is landing. No, not that sort of spaceship, but rather the new Apple Campus, a vast 176-acre site that will eventually house up to 12,000 employees in a single building.

The video is the work of YouTuber Duncan Sinfield, who used his DJI Inspire 1 drone to scope out the progress on the new campus. Sinfield added a voice-over from the late Apple founder, using audio recorded from his presentation to the city council on the proposed campus back in 2011.

The circular, spaceship-like structure is already taking shape, and the entire construction is slated for completion sometime in 2016. Of course, it still looks rather unfinished – nothing like these renders at least – but it sure stokes our anticipation for the final unveiling, even though in all likelihood we will probably never get to work there.

A similar video was also shot around a year ago by another intrepid drone pilot. You can see how things have changed right here.
